1. What wax do you use in your candles?
We use high-quality soy wax for our jar candles, both scented and unscented, offering a clean and eco-friendly burn. For our moulded candles, we use pillar wax, which provides excellent structure, durability, and a smooth finish.
2. How long do your candles burn?
Our candles have an approximate burn time of 8 to 10 hours. They can be enjoyed either in a single continuous burn or over multiple intervals, depending on your preference.
3. Are your candles made with natural ingredients?
Our candles are thoughtfully crafted using a blend of natural and high-quality materials. We use premium soy wax, a plant-based and eco-friendly alternative to traditional waxes, along with eco-friendly wicks designed for a clean, even, and consistent burn.
Our fragrances are created using high-quality, candle-grade fragrance oils sourced from trusted suppliers in India. These oils comply with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards, ensuring they are safe and suitable for home use. Wherever applicable, our candles are free from harmful toxins such as lead and phthalates.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches to maintain quality, consistency, and attention to detail. We are committed to delivering a clean-burning, long-lasting, and safe aromatic experience while upholding high standards of quality and sustainability.
4. Are the fragrances safe for pets and kids?
We use high-quality, candle-grade fragrance oils sourced from trusted suppliers specifically formulated for safe use in candles. Our fragrances are designed for a safe and pleasant indoor experience when used as directed. Wherever applicable, these fragrances are used in line with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) guidelines, ensuring they meet established safety standards. However, we recommend burning candles in well-ventilated spaces and keeping them out of reach of children and pets, as sensitivities may vary.
5. How should I care for my candle wick?
Proper wick care is essential for a clean, safe, and long-lasting burn. Before each use, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch (5–6 mm) to prevent excessive flame, smoke, or soot. Always ensure the wick is centered and upright while burning. Avoid burning the candle for more than 2–3 hours at a time, and allow the wax to cool before relighting. Remove any debris from the wax pool to maintain an even burn. Following these simple steps helps extend the life of your candle and ensures a consistent, enjoyable fragrance experience.
6. Can I reuse the candle jars after use?
Absolutely. Our candle jars are thoughtfully designed to be both elegant and reusable. Once the candle has fully finished and the jar has cooled, simply clean it with warm soapy water. These jars can be beautifully repurposed for storage, décor accents, or as planters—adding a touch of sophistication to your space while supporting a more sustainable lifestyle.
7. Are your candles suitable for gifting?
Absolutely. Our candles are thoughtfully crafted to make perfect gifts for any occasion. 8. Do you ship candles internationally?
Currently, we ship within India. However, we are actively working towards expanding Aman Essence Candles to international markets in the near future.
